DIGITAL MARKETING -- Compile text and photos in electronic format for interactive travel information, distribution and use on computer, CD-ROM, and the internet. GOAL: Expand digital materials available for electronic distribution.
RECREATION MAP & GUIDE -- The purpose is to provide a guide to recreational opportunities in the region and a comprehensive overview of the community from the visitors perspective. GOAL: To produce a four-color brochure that will be competitive on racks and educational for those coming or already in Central Vermont as well as for residents.
RESTAURANT PLACEMAPS -- The purpose of this program is to attract dollars from non-travel businesses to help support the travel industry which benefits all of us. (Non-travel businesses like the local readership, travelers gain benefit of map information.) GOAL : To produce one or more editions.
BUS TOUR ESCORTING -- The purpose of the escort program is to serve bus groups touring CV by offering services (tour planning and step-on escorts) which may not be available elsewhere.
REGIONAL MARKETING GRANTS -- Securing chamber access to state funds to expand marketing programs. GOAL: To develop a regionwide consensus on how Central Vermont uses these funds to promote tourism.
TRADE SHOWS -- The purpose of sending materials to trade shows is to reach audiences other than direct mail recipients who might be interested in visiting Central Vermont. GOAL: To have Central Vermont materials at no less than six trade shows.
CITIES STREET MAP -- The purpose is to provide the best and most detailed map of Central Vermont's city and village communities. GOAL: To reprint the new version of the map from an electronic base map, generated by the Regional Planning Commission or other GIS agent.
