Central Vermont Regional Marketing Event Sponsorships were approved for seven area events taking place in 2005. Event Sponsorships were awarded to 8th Annual Barre Granite Festival, $1,200; Berlin Community Festival, $800; First Night Montpelier, $1,600; 2nd Annual Bug Fest at VINS, $1,600; Green Mountain Film Festival, $1,600; Barre Green Mountain Motorheads Car Show, $1,600; and Barre Homecoming, $1,600.
In addition to funding assistance, each grant recipient receives a copy of the Event Sponsorship Media Guide to assist in event promotion.
